Internships
available at the Liberty Aviation Museum
Description
We are a growing nonprofit aviation museum that educates and restores vintage aircraft as well as watercraft and vehicles in Port Clinton, Ohio. Our Museum is funded through museum memberships, admissions, corporate events, and private donations. All of our fundraising efforts and educational programs would provide opportunities for interns to gain real world experience promoting these events and programs. In addition, our non-profit museum offers educational tours and programs for local schools and groups desiring to learn more about aviation and military history. We need knowledgeable interns to greet visitors and act as docents for guided tours and special events. All of our internships offer hands-on learning opportunities for students to explore a museum environment while working directly with staff and volunteers on special projects, exhibitions, and daily operations. If you are passionate about history, aviation, education, marketing, or event planning and ready to take on the challenge of promoting our museum then LAM wants you to join our team.

Students must be currently enrolled as college sophomores or juniors with at least 15 hours of course work in a relevant field to which they are applying.
